Draft: Proposed Minutes

1. Opening of the Meeting

Mr. Kestutis Petrauskis, General Manager of Lithuanian TV welcomes the Intermag members and gives a short historical overview of Lithuanian TV.

2. Approval of the "Proposed Minutes" of the General Assembly Rome, September 30,2005

3. Membership

1. Leave Intermag 2006:

• IBA / "Weekly Magazine " Foreign report ? "Globus"

• WDR / "Bericht aus Brüssel"

We are actually 15 members

2. New members

• RAI/"TG1Storia"
  A 10 minutes weekly programme of RAI 1 on a historical fact or personality with archive footage for free exchange.

3. Changes among members: New Titles, Formats, Contacts etc.

• HR / "Auswärts " changed its name into "Auslands-Reportage"

1. Promotion:

• Reason for meeting in Vilnius
  In Rome it was decided that instead of waiting for an invitation of the Intermag members, we should rather visit possible new members, starting with the Baltics. Thanks to Udo Biss' contacts the meeting could be organised in Vilnius.

• Invitation of Baltic TV Stations: Also the other Baltic TV stations had been invited by a letter from the presidency, unfortunately without response. In a personal contact there is always some interest but somehow it gave no feedback so far.

• How to proceed for next meetings

In Vilnius the members decided that we should continue on this path and try to visit another Baltic state next year. It was also suggested to visit a Scandinavian station. Udo Biss will establish a contact and this will decide the destination of the next conference

4. New Database System

The attending members found the new system practical and less time consuming than the PES.

5. Update of INTERMAG Website

Website urgently needs updating after abolishing the PES . Also it was felt there should be a new logo. Mariolina proposed to contact her graphic department. Gerhard will get in contact with a professional graphic designer, to be paid for with the INTERMAG budget.

Concerning the content of the Website, the CC and the presidency will do amendments where necessary and draft a new description of the INTERMAG Exchange programme.

Furthermore the question came up whether it would be necessary to have a leaflet. The decision was made to try and outline a hand-out presentation of INTERMAG.

6. Next Meeting

There is no invitation yet for the General Assembly 2007. Possible locations are Stockholm and Tallin. Udo Biss will explore possibilities.
